Visual Kontakt in Ulm (Germany) is displaying photos and calligraphic drawings on my recent exhibition, Tourist.
From the catalog:
The vagabond, wanderer and erratic, is the main character of a set of images that reflects the journey of fruitless searching. The dreamed answer is in the journey of return, but if everyone has also traveled on a temporary way, at his return the subject becomes an alien in his own land, a ghost with the “overloaded memory”, with memories petrified. These images are more than merely documents or illustration of places. They become clues on the traveler’s eternal way back. The core of the images in return that shapes the ghost.
For workers’ day, we restored an old damaged poster from socialist times that prays “Creative work is filled with historical reference to Slovak National Uprising”, in collaboration with Igor Babiak.
A wall drawing in process made for the retrospective exhibition of the painter Tomás Ledesma Fuentes at the Museo Regional de la Laguna, en Torreon (Mexico). Check the details here.
Sábado de Gloria at Trincheras is a photo-reportage that documents the Easter Eve’s practices in Gomez Palacio (Mexico) when cross-dressed guys burn effigies filled with fireworks representing Judas. You can check the whole set here.

Vertical Composition. As a part of the ESPORA residency. Tlacotalpan, 2012.
Starting from 15th March, I will be taking part of the itinerant residency ESPORA in Tlacotalpan (Mexico) focused on relations between ecology and art.
itinerarios.org is a project that combines contemporary dance, city and Internet. During one week in Torreon (Mexico) a group of dancers would realize a series of performances that would be immediately reproduced on Internet. It was curated by me and made in collaboration with Sara Ovalle and Christophe Aslanian.
From now, the page itinerarios.org will be posting several dance actions that involved the city. The project, in Comarca Lagunera (Mexico) is curated by me.
